Verónica Vázquez

Born in Asunción, Paraguay, Verónica is fluent in Spanish and English. She supports the Office Manager and Executive Director in the general operations of the firm, specifically managing our incoming potential client inquiries, scheduling consultations, maintaining the client database, and assisting with marketing and business development. In addition, Verónica assists attorneys and paralegals with client communications, preparation of immigration forms, preparation of affidavits, and preparation of clients for testimony and interviews. She serves as a Spanish-English Interpreter for clients who need assistance in court interviews. Verónica speaks some Portuguese and German as well.

Verónica graduated in economics from Universidad Nacional de Asunción, has a master’s degree in business administration from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya in Barcelona-Spain, a TESOL Certificate from Trinity College London, and a Certificate of Spanish-English Translation & Interpretation from UMass. In the past Verónica worked at ABN AMRO Bank, taught English to people from all ages, served as a Spanish-English interpreter in different settings and translated books from Spanish to English for Paraguayan writers.

Her work as in the legal field started unexpectedly. What started as a temporary help to a lawyer friend, interviewing Spanish-speaker immigrants and working as a legal interpreter in court, awakened her interest in immigration law. In addition, she understands firsthand the difficulties of being in a country that does not provide the medical attention that a child needs to survive. This has fueled her empathy towards immigrants in similar situations. Being in touch with many people from different backgrounds, working in different fields, and having a vast experience in business, Veronica strives to provide exceptional service to our clients and potential clients.
