Libeth Maya Galeano

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Libeth is fluent in Spanish and English. After having worked in the administrative operations of the firm, handling contracts, invoices, collections and general office coordination, she is now in a legal assistant role, helping attorneys with legal research, form preparation, case analysis, and the preparation of legal documents, as well as managing relationships and communications with clients.

Libeth came from Colombia by herself and was not completely fluent in English. She dedicated herself to studying the language and obtained English proficiency certificates, along with a paralegal certificate and a Professional Human Services certificate from Bunker Hill Community College. A graduate of Sergio Arboleda University Law School in Bogotá, Colombia, she worked in a labor law firm handling legal documents such as complaints, briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and mediations. After moving to the U.S., she completed an internship at a family, real estate, and an immigration law office in Boston. From her personal journey, she understands the challenges of starting over in a new country and now takes great satisfaction in helping and guiding others through their immigration processes.

In addition to her legal experience, Libeth serves as a Student Ambassador at Approach International Student Center, where she fosters a supportive environment for international students by organizing community-building activities and providing guidance to ensure a positive experience. Libeth now brings her expertise, client service skills, and attention to detail to the firm.
