Alex is a full-time paralegal with our criminal, personal injury and immigration law firm in Boston. Being the child of two immigrant parents both from Mexico, he is fluent in both English and Spanish. His responsibilities at the firm include preparing documents and immigration applications, traveling to court to file submissions and retrieve documents for both criminal and immigration matters, scheduling meetings with clients and managing communications with them, translating at interviews as needed, and briefing with the attorney about the next steps to be taken on a case and assisting with their implementation
After graduating from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont with a BA in Political Science and Philosophy, he came to Boston to pursue his career in law. Although he is not an immigrant himself, he understands the difficulties and fears of being an immigrant in this country from having seen his parents navigate life and bring up their family while simultaneously dealing with the immigration process.
Alex hopes to help people better understand the legal process and help combat the stress that accompanies the process of immigration to the United States.
