Legal Fees
A contingency fee is a charge for legal services that is contingent on our office winning the case. If we do not win the case, then you, the client, owes no legal fee or expenses related to the case.
If we are able to successfully resolve the case then our office receives a percentage of the settlement or judgment in addition to any costs or expenses related to the claim. For motor vehicle accidents our legal fee is 1/3 of the settlement or judgment or 33.33%. This percentage varies for medical malpractice, worker's compensation, and other types of claims for which the terms are regulated by a statute or rule.
